Logan Killam, Beretta’s Pistol Product Manager, takes a few minutes to talk about the new 20X Bobcat, an American-made .22 caliber gun that modernizes the classic Beretta Bobcat 21A. The 20X features a relocated push-button magazine release for easier use, and a tip-up barrel that allows loading a round and inserting the magazine without racking the slide—perfect for pocket or purse carry. It retains the thumb safety and single/double action, so you can carry it safely with the hammer forward.
The 20X is available in four colors and two sight models, including suppressor-ready optics-height sights, and comes with new aggressive G10 grips for improved control. Watch the video for more details of the new Beretta 20X Bobcat.
The Beretta 20X Bobcat is designed primarily for close-range shooting, making it reasonably accurate within 10 to 15 yards. It is not intended for long-range accuracy, but users can expect decent precision for its size, particularly for self-defense situations.
Compared to other pocket pistols, the Beretta 20X Bobcat is known for its compact size and ease of use. While it is not as powerful as larger calibers, it offers a good balance of portability, reliability, and affordability. It is a good option for those who want a lightweight and small firearm for personal protection.
The Beretta 20X Bobcat has minimal recoil due to its lightweight design and the low recoil of the .22 LR cartridge. This makes it easy to handle, even for beginners or those with less experience shooting firearms.
