Welcome everybody. We’re here at Shot Show 2024. I’m Eric Suarez, the Director of Marketing for Meprolight USA. We’re launching at SHOT Show six new pistol red dots. The entire family is called the MPO, for “Mepro Pistol Optics.” We understand that pistol optics are becoming ever more prevalent on today’s pistols. And to be fair, we just haven’t had a good offering. So building off of our Israeli heritage of mil-spec red dot optics, grenade launcher sites, magnifiers, and everything else, now we are in the pistol game and we came with an entire family.
So first, we’ll start with the Mepro MPO-DS. The MPO-DS will be your entry-line Slimline pistol. DS stands for “Dot Slim.” So it comes with a 3.5 MOA dot. It is RMSC-cut for all your slim pistols, and it’s fantastic. Super clear, super crisp.
Next we have the Mepro MPO-S. So the MPO-S is an open sight, it does have a ton of features packed in here. So it’s got three segments radical. You can have a dot, you can have a bull’s-eye, you can have an open circle depending on what you prefer. We’re looking at twenty thousand-ish hours for this battery. And I hate giving out battery hours for the simple fact that different battery makes and different environments draws on batteries differently. We really suggest you go with the battery management plan, swap your batteries out once a year, once every six months, whatever works for you.
Moving up to the Pro line, this is the MPO Pro-S. So again, cover your RMSC. It is an enclosed optic. It is made for your more professional LE users. It does have a plate that mounts and then a cross bolt so that way you can silently mount your MPO Pro-S to your Slimline pistol. Again, it has automatic brightness control, manual brightness control, 10 brightness setting, two of them being night vision and your three-segmented reticle.
We’re going to bounce over to the full-size optics now, and we have the MPO-DF. So, similar to the MPO-DS, the DF is an open-optic, it has a 3.5 MO8 dot. You are going to have automatic as well as manual brightness controls, and it is a side battery-mounted battery compartment.
So next up, we have the MPO-F. The MPO-F, as with all of our F-series are all RMR-cut footprint. So it seems to be what the industry is moving towards and it’s what we decided to go with. So the MPO-F is an open site. It does have the three-segment reticle, automatic as well as manual brightness controls, 10 brightness settings, two with night vision, and its rock solid and reliable.
And last but certainly not least we have our Pro line. So the MPO Pro-F is a closed system. So again, it’s made for your law enforcement, your professional users, your heavy-duty users that want something that your LED emitter cannot get rain on, get blood on, sweat, sand, whatever those things may cover up your dot, and then does not give you a good visual picture. So here we have it on a Glock. We do manufacturer our own Glock plates so you don’t have to go with two plates.
Most systems you have to mount the RMR plate and then you’ll have to have the body for the enclosed emitter system plate and then mount your system. We were able to get it very low to the bore by simply designing our own plate for our MPF Pro-F. Again, it has automatic brightness control as well as manual brightness control, 10 brightness settings, two for night vision, and your three segmented reticle, which is your three MOA dot, your 33 MOA Outer Circle or your bull’s-eye combining the two.
So in total, we have six new Red Dots here at SHOT Show 2024. If you want more information, please see our website at www.Meprolight.com and if you want buy any of these new Mepro MPO red dots head over to GunBroker.com to place your order.
