The new FN SCAR 15P 5.56 NATO pistol is the latest in the rich history and high quality of FN firearms. This is the semi-auto civilian version of the FN SCAR-SC select-fire PDW that FN enthusiasts have been begging for. Featuring a short-stroke gas piston, non-reciprocating bolt carrier assembly, quad-style Picatinny rails, and fully ambidextrous controls, the SCAR 15p is a light-recoiling 5.56mm NATO/223 Rem pistol that is tested to be rugged, precise, and dependable. Going by the nickname “Baby SCAR”, it’s the smallest SCAR available in the commercial market.
The hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floating 7” barrel comes standard with a 3-prong flash hider. The finish is an anodized Type III Hardcoat available in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) or Black, with steel-bodied, low-friction follower magazines in matching colors. Since the dual ambidextrous charging handle stays static when firing, it serves the additional function of a hand-stop for your support hand. The FN 15P is a subcompact 5.56 pistol that doesn’t sacrifice any features for size. They even throw in a premium zippered case for discreet transportation.
The SCAR 15P was announced in 2022, and hit the market in 2023. It is currently shipping and available for sale, but demand is high so you’ll want to get your hands on one ASAP!
The MSRP for the FN SCAR 15P is $3,699. Due to high demand, you may see it listed at higher prices.
